Origin
A ghost machine started as a question: what happens when you stop asking what kind of artist you are and just make the work?
We're a small, tight-knit studio that draws on a wider network of collaborators — composers, directors, designers, writers, and people who don't have a title yet. Every project is assembled for the work, not the other way around.
We take on commissions that interest us. We don't do templated. We don't do safe. We do things that are worth making.

Made from scratch
Every project starts with a blank page. We don't repurpose or recycle — we build.
Discipline-agnostic
The work tells us what it needs. Sometimes that's a score. Sometimes it's a film. Often it's both.
Small on purpose
We stay small so we can stay good. Every project gets real attention from real people.
